Usually when a patient comes in with a child, I ask them if they want the child to be checked. If we find subluxations, then I suggest the child get adjusted. This is not to increase my business, since I don’t charge for kids under 12 (as long as the parent is a patient). Sometimes people say yes, sometimes they say no, and sometimes they are surprised that we adjust children.
The other day I adjusted a little boy and his mom and grandmother were amazed at the difference that ONE adjustment hade made in his behavior. The kid was diagnosed with ADD and ADHD.
He was on medications-and although it’s still too early to tell what will happen, not the parents see that there are other avenues of treatment that were not open to them before.
